A member of the clan expanded his model collection and needed some more shelf space. We didn't have any shelf brackets but we had some motorcycle chain and a few head studs laying around! After cleaning the chain and tig welding some links together, our chain and head bolt shelf supports were created! We put the apprentice to work on the wood sanding and staining. The brackets came out NICE, and the wood finish was legit.

FINALLY!!! A BIG victory getting this Gen 2 Dodge, 5.9 Cummins diesel running after figuring out that someone installed a different year head on the motor, without the proper modifications. This truck was previously worked on by 6 different mechanics and still wouldn't run!
New VP44 high pressure fuel pump. FASS lift pump system installed. Custom injector crossover tubes. Fresh starter installed after the old one blew apart during initial start up...😲 Custom coolant overflow tank. New injector o-rings and washers. And the list goes on! $$$
Ready to get this truck back to its owner so we can redo some concrete and hopefully get our lift installed.

Last night turned into an adventure when our new friend Zak from Israel was down in the Palm Springs area visiting. He got his 2023 Chrysler 300S rental car stuck in the soft sand while navigating through the desert area. A "good samaritan", but not smart samaritan, tried to pull him out and snapped his lower control arm in half!!! Unfortunately we didn't get the recovery call. I did get the call around 8pm inquiring if we could repair the car before he had to return it at 9am the next day, then catch a 10:30am flight back to Israel out of LAX! Thankfully we were able to source the part, pick it up, install it, and test drive the car to make sure all was good. Zak was all smiles and is back home. This lines up with the mission statement to help people when in need. We were glad to help out and meet another fantastic individual from far away.

Found a few surprises inside this 1999 F350, 7.3 PowerStroke Diesel motor! We'll see if the block is salvageable after a valve gave up the ghost and fubar'd #6 piston and cylinder. We also found a connecting rod that wasn't living the straight life! Hopefully we can get this baby back in service and add all the fancy power adding parts to make it around 500RWHP. Trying to keep the build under 8K, but we'll see...!!!

We initially got this beautiful, 1983 Honda, XL600, in the shop to address a few small oil leaks. Garage kept and low miles. After 46+ hrs. of love and care in the , we got her all sealed up and running "like new"!!! Removed and cleaned up most parts of this bike to qualify it as a mini-restoration. New top end rebuild with cam and valve train coming soon. Always fun to work on the classic bikes that are now over 4 decades old. The owner came over from New York, Ny., to pick up the bike and ride it 25 miles to his next destination. He was happy so we were happy. It will definately be back for more work soon.
