Wow, we’ve been quiet here… sorry! This super fast and simple supercharger + stand alone install has been a tremendous lift, but we can see the light (I think!). Spending time planning, wrenching, tuning, and most of all, fulfilling orders and supporting our customers, means less time for posts, but we are BACK. For the first time since December, the splitter and bumper are back on the car. There are no boost leaks, or leaks of any kind, and the car is ready for its first proper test day on Friday. No, we aren’t going for a PB, we will be cycling the car, getting it hot (please, not too hot) and working on throttle calibration, TC and dialing in the tune. I cannot say enough about our incredible partner, . They believe in the mission — we all want to see this work. The goal here is to prove what’s possible with this older chassis and special motor, integrating Syvecs, safety and power. Maybe to break some records, stand on the podium, spray some champagne… the usual. On the last trip to the dyno, we put down 546whp/382lb-ft. Following that, the bypass valve spring was found in pieces, not functioning and leaking. Belt was worn, along with the tensioner, and slipping up top, and we had a massive vac line leak under the plenum. Without this, I’d imagine we are much closer to 600 now… should be absolutely insane at 28xx lbs. Thanks for following along, the season is just getting started. 🏁
