The Graham Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Master Trooper Stien Davis, Jr. of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol

Master Trooper Davis, assigned to Troop B, District 7 in Robeson County, was involved in a single vehicle collision shortly after midnight while on duty. Initial reports indicate he was traveling in his patrol vehicle on NC 130 when he lost control, traveled off the roadway, and overturned in a swampy roadside area. He was pronounced deceased.

This is a heartbreaking reminder of the risks our law enforcement officers face every day while serving their communities. Master Trooper Davis answered the call with commitment and courage, and his service will not be forgotten.

We stand in solidarity with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol during this difficult time. We ask our community to keep Master Trooper Davis’ loved ones and his fellow troopers in your thoughts and prayers. City of Graham, NC
