☀️ Why You NEED Solar Control Window Film on Your Home or Business

If you have large windows letting the sun pour into your home or business all day, you’re not just getting natural light — you’re getting HEAT, GLARE, UV exposure, and higher cooling costs.

That’s exactly where Solar Control Window Film comes in.

Professionally installed window film can help:

🔥 Reduce solar heat coming through your glass
💰 Lower the workload on your A/C and potentially reduce energy costs
🛋️ Protect flooring, furniture, merchandise, and interiors from UV-related fading
😎 Cut down harsh glare without giving up your windows
❄️ Keep rooms more comfortable and temperatures more consistent
🔒 Add daytime privacy with certain film options
🏢 Upgrade the appearance of your home or commercial building

Think about it…

You already paid for the windows. Why keep letting them work AGAINST you?

Whether it’s a house with huge windows that turns into an oven every afternoon, an office where employees are fighting the sun all day, or a storefront where customers are getting cooked while they’re trying to shop, or eat — solar control film can make a HUGE difference.

And the best part? You don't necessarily have to go dark. We offer film options that can provide serious solar performance while still keeping a clean, natural appearance.

Stop paying to cool a building while the sun is heating it right back up.

Thank you to Lulu’s Kitchen for the opportunity to make your place cooler😎

It’s always a good day when we get to help another local Bucyrus business.

We recently finished up a commercial window tint project at OLD 30 Restaurant, with one main goal in mind — making the dining area more comfortable for their customers.

When you have large windows letting sunlight in all day, the heat and glare can become a real problem. Adding quality window film helps keep that heat under control, reduces glare, blocks harmful UV rays, and helps create a much more comfortable space without sacrificing the natural light.

We really appreciate OLD 30 choosing Custom Tint Solutions for the project. Being a small business ourselves, getting the opportunity to work with other businesses right here in our community is something we never take for granted.

If your home or business has rooms that just never seem to stay cool, your windows might be a bigger part of the problem than you think. Reach out to us for a free quote!

Some people wonder why tinting a semi costs more than tinting an everyday vehicle—and the truth is, there’s a lot more that goes into it than most people realize.

Older semis especially require extra time and attention to detail. There’s a lot more climbing around, working in tight spaces, and making sure everything is done right. Some semis even have split windshields, which can add even more time and difficulty to the job. And sometimes, even after all that, things don’t go perfectly and a redo is needed.

This semi specifically received our top-of-the-line APEX ULTRA Super Ceramic tint on the front doors and both front windshields. 20% on the Front doors, and a 50% on both front windshields.

At Custom Tint Solutions, we take the time to do the job right, because whether it’s your daily driver or your big rig, the goal is always the same: quality work you can be proud of.

Thank you Niese Farms for the business!

Who likes waking up in their own sweat to start the day? 😂

We recently had the opportunity to tint the windows on this beautiful home right here in Bucyrus. We installed a combination of our 40% and 50% residential window film to help reduce the heat and glare coming through the windows while still keeping the home bright and welcoming while adding a sweet but subtle look.

If you have rooms in your home that feel like a greenhouse once the sun hits them, residential window tint might be the perfect solution. It can make a noticeable difference in comfort while also helping protect your furniture, flooring, and other interior surfaces from the sun.

If you own a Tesla, window tint is more than just a style upgrade. With all that glass, Teslas can get extremely hot inside and allow a ton of heat and UV rays into the cabin.

A quality super ceramic film like our APEX ULTRA, helps reject heat, block harmful UV rays, and make the interior much more comfortable—especially with this heat and humidity recently.

With as much glass as a Tesla has, ceramic tint is one upgrade you’ll definitely notice every time you get in.

We installed 15% on all side windows and the rear glass, finished off with 50% on the windshield for added heat rejection and comfort while maintaining excellent visibility.
