🏁 2025 Event Schedule 🏎️💨💨
Like always, nothing here is “mandatory”, this schedule is more of a roadmap showing where the heart of our group will be throughout the weekend. The one event you really don’t want to miss? The Fontana Dam Basin Meet at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 25th our biggest gathering of the year.
Here’s how the weekend shapes up:
❇️Friday, October 24th

🟢8:30 AM – Meet & Greet @ Ingles
📍2 Sweetwater Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771
Kick things off with coffee, fuel, and car talk. This is the perfect chance to meet new faces, check out the rides, and get pumped for the first drive of the weekend.
🟢9:30 AM – Cherohala Skyway West Cruise
We’ll head west into Tennessee on one of the most scenic mountain roads in the country. Long sweeping curves, high elevation views, and crisp fall air; it doesn’t get better.
We will stop for lunch at IronWorks Grill

🟢After Lunch – Cherohala Skyway East Cruise
The drive back is just as rewarding, dropping us into the Joyce Kilmer Forest before finishing at the
📍Maple Springs Observation Deck.
Expect killer photo ops and a relaxed end to the cruise.
🟢6:00 PM – Sunset Dragon Runs
Golden hour + the Tail of the Dragon = magic. Whether you want to rip through the curves or chill at a pull-off to take in the symphony of exhaust notes echoing through the mountains, this is the time.

🟢9:00 AM – Fontana Dam Basin Meet
The crown jewel of the weekend. Every year, this spot fills with the roar of engines and the energy of our whole crew coming together.
🟢9:45 AM – Annual “Anti-Mustard” Speech
A tradition at this point. Filled with questions, advice, and laughs before the big run.
🟢10:00 AM – Group Dragon Run
We split into three groups:
• Fast – for those who live on the edge.
• Intermediate – spirited but not reckless.
• Sunday Drivers – chill pace, soak in the sights.
All groups will meet at the usual big pull-off (1.5 miles on the left on US129).
🟢Lunch – Choose Your Adventure
No set lunch plan. Cruise with friends or head out solo—great spots nearby include 129Hub, Tapoco Tavern, Mudpuppy, and Dragon City.
🟢3:00 PM – 129Hub Meet
📍 4371 Calderwood Highway Maryville, TN 37801
One of our favorite hangouts. Grab a drink, swap stories, and get ready for one of the most beautiful drives of the weekend.
🟢4:00 PM – Foothills Parkway Cruise
This stretch is always a crowd favorite. Sweeping curves, incredible mountain views, and smooth pavement—pure driving bliss. We’ll wrap up in Wears Valley, where dinner options range from sit-down restaurants to local food trucks.
🟢After Dinner – Foothills Return + Night Dragon Run
The sun sets, headlights come on, and the Dragon transforms into a whole new beast. We’ll finish at Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort by the TOTD store a classic nightcap to the day.

Traditionally, many head home early, but for those sticking around, Sunday offers a more laid-back farewell. Don’t skip it if you have the time, it’s the perfect cool down to the weekend.
🟢8:00 AM – Breakfast at Tapoco Tavern
