The next chapter of the KTR Sierra build is underway. Time for the suspension and brakes to catch up to the power this truck now makes.

The factory leaf spring rear suspension is being replaced with a complete Ridetech 4-link system and coilovers, while the braking system is receiving a major upgrade with Corvette ZR1 6-piston calipers up front with massive 16” rotors and Corvette 4-piston calipers in the rear.

Wheels are a great way to transform a vehicles appearance and bring vehicle accents together. Ferrada FR2 wheels with silver spokes and a polished lip did just that by matching the car’s silver stripes and small chrome accents.

Installing a new set of Powerstop Stop cross drilled, slotted, and coated rotors finished it off for a whole fresh new look. We also disabled the AFM feature to keep this vehicle running on all 8 for the best crusing experience!

The end result is a Camaro that looks more dialed-in, feels tighter on the road, and drives the way the owner always wanted it to.

This 2011 Camaro made its first visit to KTR with the owner looking for a way to improve the look of his vehicle and to improve suspension. The current wheels were not appealing anymore and the suspension was feeling loose since he had lowering springs installed. We checked over the whole vehicle and came up with a game plan.

Rather than replacing everything, we focused on the pieces that would make the biggest difference. Instead of jumping straight to an expensive coilover setup, we recommended BMR sway bars and upgraded bushings throughout the vehicle to tighten up the chassis and make the car feel more responsive.

A new set of Ferrada wheels and Powerstop brakes in the mix to help give the car a fresh new look.

This low-mileage ProCharged C5 Z06 came to KTR for a new set of shoes and a look-over to see if it needed anything else. After installing a new set of Continental tires, we evaluated the car and found a handful of opportunities to improve the driving experience.

The ride height was adjusted to properly level the existing aftermarket lowering kit. We then installed the best shifter on the market for late model GM vehicles! The MGW short throw shifter assembly along with disabling the factory skip shift feature provides the driver with clean precise shifts for a better driving experience.

Nothing major. Just a series of small improvements that added up to a much better driving experience. Sometimes the details make all the difference.

We’ve been so busy in the shop that we almost forgot to share the final walkaround of our C8 with heads and cam package installed.

This combination gained 93 wheel horsepower while maintaining the drivability expected from a street-driven Corvette. Our shop car also features several additional upgrades beyond the standard package, allowing us to continue testing and evaluating combinations for future offerings.

The C8 heads and cam package is available now on the KTR website.

This project took a different path than originally planned after discovering a cracked engine block during disassembly. A new short block was built and paired with a ProCharger P1X system, Katech cylinder heads, BTR camshaft, and supporting upgrades.

The result is a completely transformed Silverado and a great example of what can happen when the right combination comes together.

After rebuilding the foundation and completing the upgrades, this Silverado is now equipped with a ProCharger P1X system...

After rebuilding the foundation and completing the upgrades, this Silverado is now equipped with a ProCharger P1X system, Katech cylinder heads, BTR camshaft, and Stainless Works exhaust.

It’s been a long time since a ProCharger found its way into the shop. Back in the early 2000s, I installed plenty of them on Corvettes, but this build marks the first ProCharger truck install for KTR.

We are now a registered ProCharger dealer, making this the first of many to come through the shop.

Next stop: the dyno.
