I am an engine designer myself so consider me biased. That being said I am a huge fan of the ICE. We do not ever make it to the moon and back if not for the massive horsepower unleashed by the ICE to fuel an economy strong enough to support a project like that and a million others. The ICE is being unfairly maligned by an ignoble political agenda masquerading as a noble environmental concern.

The ICE is not even close to its max potential whereas electric motors are very close to max. It is also true that an ICE with higher power density does not need to achieve anywhere near 90% thermal efficiency to beat the EV at EVERY level EVEN if battery tech doubles battery power density! But, we do have to move past pistons, poppet valves & lever/crank action to get there.

The positive displacement turbine is the only way, ie: TOMAHAWK TX!
