We said goodbye to our two white 1957 Thunderbirds last month and sold them at the Mecum auction in Indy. The plan was to replace them with one '57 T-bird which we did when we found this beautiful Peacock Blue T-Bird in Texas. Thinking the garage was at capacity we were content to complete all the needed items on the cars and enjoy them this season. That all changed Memorial Day weekend when the Mrs made a comment that the next purchase needed to be a truck. Of course what we heard was "we need a truck". Sooooo not wanting to disappoint anyone, especially while she was gone for 12 days to Ireland, we found this beautiful 1955 Studebaker 1/2 ton pickup looking for a new owner. And yes, it was built in South Bend!

It's been a productive winter getting some of the remaining issues on the cars resolved. We're soooo ready for cruise ins and car shows! Coming soon to a show near you will be our 1956 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Now this was riding in class in the 1950's....and still today! This was acquired from the Klairmont museum liquidation auction in Chicago last fall and we can't wait to show her off. And at almost 19 feet long, save me TWO parking spaces! :) Bring on spring!!
