Still on our back to school kick. We’ve got a checklist to get your teen’s and your cars ready for the added commuting and idling in pick up lines.

1. Windshield wiper blades. If they are streaky it’s time to change them. Start of school is always a good time to get that done. This is an easy DIY change you can make at home.

2. Brake pads. School zones are coming back online this week, let’s keep everyone safe with a fresh set of brake pads.

3. AC feeling a little… not right? Air heavier and not as fresh? It’s time to check that AC & cabin filter and make sure the car is fresh and airy.

Mako is upfront about all costs and fees so you won't be surprised when the final bill comes. We know that sometimes, you need the ability to plan and budget for repairs and services, so we are here to help you every step of the way.

What can you find in our quotes? They are broken down into four sections: Customer information, Parts (includes parts and fees for each job or service requested and/or needed), findings and recommendations, and our waivers/disclaimers/and agreements.

Customer information is used for filing purposes and to aid in research for your vehicle. VIN numbers are required to make sure we have the corrects parts and systems for your specific vehicle. Many times, there are a few variants for each vehicle and the VIN number can tell us exactly which one we should be prepared for.

Parts is broken down by job and/or service. Each blue box shows a new job or service and all parts needed to complete it, including labor, are listed after that. Taxes are not included in these quotes.

Findings and recommendations for an initial quote, without a diagnostic, will only list what the customer has requested and our disclaimer about taxes and card fees as well as information about in shop verses mobile work and fee. In post diagnostic quotes, Landon provides a detailed breakdown of how he investigated the trouble as well as what he found. You will also find any recommendations in this section.

After you get your quote, we give you time to think about it and will only follow up with you once to make sure you haven't had any questions pop up. The ball is fully in your court. No one likes to be pestered, right?

If your quote is coming after a diagnostic, any job with a labor cost of at least $500 will have the diagnostic fee waived when you book within 7 (seven) days of receiving your post diagnostic quote.
