2015 Central Roadracing Association results are official and CQC Motorsports rider Matthew Nardo is a Triple Champion! Congratulations Matthew on taking Gold in the Unlimited Supersport Novice, Unlimited Superbike Novice and Unlimited Grand Prix Novice classes!

CQC Motorsports is at Brainerd International Raceway today, but just as spectators. Not a great way to end an othrwise successful season, but great to be at the track, stockpiling the sights, sounds and smells to get us through the inevitable MN winter ahead.

Central Roadracing Association August Weekend at Brainerd International Raceway was a Roller Coaster ride for CQC Motorsports.
Highlights included a new personal best lap time, a couple race victories and a couple other podium finishes. Team Rider Matthew Nardo is leading three classes in Season Championship points.
With just a lap and a half remaining in the final race of the weekend, Matthew experienced a low side crash at the entry of Turn 4 at approximately 115 MPH. After a check over at St. Joseph's in Brainerd (which was a VERY good experience, Thank You St. Joesph's staff!) he was released with a concussion and fractured Ulna (small wrist bone). Recovery and therapy have already begun. It will be one day at a time leading up to the September event.
Team Rider Austin Tschida also had his share of ups and downs over the weekend, although the bike did remain upright for the duration of the 3 day weekend. Friday's practice day was missed due to needing to source some required parts for his bike. Saturday practice was shortened to one 10 minute session due to another rider putting oil on the track. Austin held his ground in his two classes on both Saturday and Sunday. A motor issue developed as the weekend went on, taking away some horsepower, but Austin powered through it with solid runs to the checkered flag in all his events.

Business as usual this weekend at Brainerd Intl Raceway...even if things did get a bit beat up (see grandstands in background) earlier this week. Huge thanks to all volunteers for getting the facility back in shape!
