FYI...The "Buzzard" has a new name and is back on the competition circuit under the name of "Offspring" owned and campaigned by Thomas Beitz of Pennsylvania. So keep an eye out for "Offspring", and if it comes to your area for a "Monster" of an event please go out and support them. Many of you drivers who had Dan Sears as your instructor for the Buzzard will be pleased to know that Dan was happily married yesterday Aug. 28th to a fabulous lady named Becky Wright at Dan's parents home in Thomaston, CT. " Moo" their puppy dog, was the cute, but slow moving, ring bearer and decided to stay for the complete ceremony by getting a front row seat on the bride's dress train for the rest of the ceremony. Becky intends to buy Dan a belt for a wedding present!

This is, most likely, my last entry for the "Blue Buzzard" page. I want express how much I have enjoyed this endeavor in my life. My fondest memories are the "Miles of Smiles" on the driver's faces as they finished their time in the Buzzard. "Send it !!!...Send it !!!...Send it !!! The attached video is a bit long, but I wanted everyone who signed our signature board to reflect on their time in the Buzzard. What GREAT memories we have shared...I thank you.

Introducing "Blue Buzzard V"
Several have asked the origin of "Blue Buzzard". I can tell you, back in my 20's, the original "Blue Buzzard"... "Blue Buzzard I", if you will, was my first Corvette (black & blue) that I had back in "68. A "Split Window" '63...small block w/Power Glide trans. Took tons of trophies at Raceway Park in NJ... Where I learned to HAMMER DOWN on the BLUE BUZZARD at a young age!!! It then morphed into the "Blue Buzzard II" as a Cessna twin engine plane which I flew for 16 years all over the country. Morphing again, "Blue Buzzard III" was an incredible show chopper motorcycle that made old man Tuttle gasp with envy. You all know the morph into "Blue Buzzard IV"...Talk about hammer Down!!! Well, many of you who have met me know I have slowed down quite a bit in my "senior" years...so I want to introduce to the newly morphed "Blue Buzzard V" a "Tesla" cart I built for my wife...And she loves it...OK...OK...No wise cracks. Ever heard "Happy Wife...Happy Life. Planning to be happy for the rest of my life!

Another FANTISTIC, EXCITING, and CRAZY weekend for the "Blue Buzzard"!!! Busy, busy, with 8 drivers this weekend and everyone of them could be a professional! What talent!!! Dam, were they GOOD. Jumps, Bumps, and Donuts...they did it all. And, all with such enthusiasm...such skill...and Soooooooooo much FUN!! Each and every driver gave the Buzzard their all, and the Buzzard responded...Just look at these donuts in the video. Of course, they had excellent instructors. Both Skyler on Sat. and Dan on Sunday (two of the best in the business) worked closely with each driver to make sure their driveMONSTERtrucks.com experience was one they will never forget and talk about for years. Putting SMILES on faces...that's what makes the Buzzard really happy!!! That's why we do it!!!

We had, what has turned out to be one of my favorite drivers this past Sunday, Gemma. Her folks had gotten her a "Blue Buzzard Driving Experience" gift certificate for a Christmas gift. As her Mom told me..."Santa gives her gifts...Her parents give her experiences." That's Gemma in the driver's window...She's really a beautiful young girl, although you can't tell with her helmet on and those "cool" sunglasses she's wearing...And that's her folks and her brother giving her big thumbs up. Everyone agreed...Driving the "Blue Buzzard Monster Truck" rates "Top of the List" for experiences!!!

Rain...What rain? Oh, you mean that torrential soaking we got over the Memorial weekend. Did it bother the Buzzard? Heck NO!!! The Buzzard hosted 8 drivers this weekend. Four on Saturday and 4 more on Monday. Sunday was really a washout. WOW...did we have "Kick Ass" fun. Until I had to power wash the Buzzard. There's always a price to pay...right

BIG THUMBS-UP for the brothers 3...Christopher, Andrew, & Matt who came down from Vermont Saturday...in the rain...the take the "Buzzard" thru its paces on our 6 acre road course in Bethlehem, CT. And a big shout-out to papa Chris for treating his 3 sons to a great family experience. Wet, cold, and rainy...who cares as long as we're havin' fun...execpt me...who had to wash all that mud off the Buzzard after their rump in the rain.
