My 2026 flagship demo van is now available.

This is a fully capable adventure van built without compromise, using industry-leading components throughout. After seven years of building custom vans, this build reflects my overall design philosophy and brings together the most intentional and refined design elements I’ve developed across 25 builds.

With the ability to seat and sleep four, this van is set up for real travel and shared adventure. It’s built for those who want the freedom to go anywhere without giving up comfort along the way.

The color palette was inspired by Oregon’s high desert landscape and plants, so it feels right at home in these photos.

FIELD NOTES — 001 // Eastern Oregon

For the first time in nearly 7 years, I have a van of my own again.

Somewhere between building vans and running a business, I forgot how much I actually enjoy being out in one. Getting back on the road in this new build has reminded me why I fell in love with these things in the first place.

Starting a new series called Field Notes where I’ll share photos, moments, and places from the road as this van gets properly used.

Inside, it’s a bold mix of old growth redwood, paperstone paneling, bamboo cabinetry, wool upholstered walls, a powder-coated shower, and radiant heat floors. And to control it all: a Garmin x Artek system at your fingertips.

Outside, it’s built to handle the rough stuff — Van Compass 6.3 suspension, CA Tuned bumper with winch, and an ARB onboard air compressor to round out this off-grid beast.

Sit back, relax, let the beat soothe your soul, and swipe left through one of the latest Buena Vista builds to hit the road. This was the last rig built at our Santa Barbara location, and looking back on this marvelous fall sunset on the Ventura coast has got me missing that warmer weather and playing in the waves. Pulpo (aka The Pink Panther) features a powder coated interior shower stall, western red cedar ceiling and accent walls, white washed bamboo cabinetry and gold fixtures. Maybe the classiest Buena build to date! This build is up on our new website with even more photos and details on the build. Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏼
