well, what a night.

we started 3rd in the heat, had some miss haves, pulled off and waited for consi.
got into the consi and started 8th, got into 2-3 wrecks and by the last one we were damaged. theres nothing we could’ve done to avoid what wrecks happened in front of us.

this was our last race of the season and it sucked to end this way but it happens. thankfully pauls okay🤍

thank you everyone for the support this year, it was greatly appreciated. we hope you all have an amazing rest of your racing year and we will see you next year for the 2027 grandview and possibly big diamond season!!! 🏁

hi everyone!
i have unfortunately been procrastinating this post because of my lack of enthusiasm and i’m exhausted. but here is our update from 29/8/26.

we started out in hot laps and had a good run. car is slightly looser then couple weeks about but we’re testing waters. we went into the 1st heat starting 2nd and if i’m not mistaken, won our heat.
we had no consi🫡
we prepped tires, tapped some stuff up on the car, put on our bakery vinyl, and got ready for the feature. once the feature came, my dad and i walked down to paul and gave him a thumbs up and a good luck in hopes we’d have a fun and awesome feature.
well for lack of a better word, he spun in front of about 20+ cars because the set up wasn’t tight enough and around he went, the track was also very slick for us to be starting the outside. thankfully everyone dodged us but chase gular got tangled with us. and paul restarted at the back. about 15 laps in paul pulled off during a caution and ended the night there. we had an eventful night and we couldn’t love the sport any more. thank you to everyone who supports our team, paul, and our bakery every weekend. next weekend (12th) we will be having chocolate cupcakes at the trailer and handing out at the END of the night. if you find our trailer, say hello and take a cupcake! wish paul some luck for our last race of the season🏁

(and of course, it wouldn’t be a racing night without our contribution, wyatt, and my dad and all the snipping photos i get of him) 🤣

i apologise for the no updates!
this past weekend, we took a break! decided to rest. next weekend we will be running Grandview like we usually do but we will not be running the 38er this year.
for next weekend, we will post our treats on the bakery page (Checkered Flag Bakery) and if you need any orders PM the page or Kaleigh Houseknecht by wednesday night at midnight, please!!

we have about 3 races left for us this year, while there being 5 in total. next year we may make the decision to run Big Diamond, but that has not been set in stone! thank you everyone for the support, and as Paul was not racing, i did not record the features/heats/consi’s.BUT here are some photos from Grandview on saturday! see you all next weekend!
