"The thing I love most about being a fabricator at Jarrett Bay is that everything is custom. We're always making new parts and when people come to me with a problem, I get to figure it out. There's no handbook for what we do here and that's what keeps it interesting. My biggest advice for anyone looking to get into this kind of work is to really love what you do. Don't just show up for a paycheck. That's not just true here, that's true anywhere in life. If you genuinely love the work, it shows."

"Catalina," an Ocean Alexander 35R, recently visited Safe Harbor Jarrett Bay for routine maintenance. Following her haulout, our service team completed the scheduled work, and she's back to shining again.

The 56-foot towboat "River Girl" recently completed scheduled maintenance at Safe Harbor Jarrett Bay. During her time in the yard, our service team gave her bottom a thorough cleaning and helped get this hardworker looking shipshape again.

"I like to play golf in my spare time. Painting boats is a lot like golf. To be successful at it, you have to keep yourself from overthinking or being scared of making a mistake. Thinking too much won't let you find your rhythm, and rhythm is everything. Being a good painter really comes down to being able to feel it. The guys who get really good are the ones who trust themselves, their team, and their preparation."
