Rustbelt Rumble! was a suresh*t bonafide good time! This was the first collab between Michigan Smokin Minis and us, and surely won't be the last! Thank you to EVERYONE who came out - riders, family, and spectators! We had a great turnout with a grip of outta state riders, and had to have riders double sign waivers towards the end because we'd run out, haha.
We had a good mix of racing, moto games, and shenanigans with class heats, a group race, two up race, keg rolls, back & forth drags, a survivor race, long jump competition, and more! Was definitely a packed day of riding, but we also had a roman candle war Friday evening and a HUGE fireworks show Saturday evening. Best part of the whole weekend was the hangs with new and old friends, and getting to watch everyone's different riding styles!
Everyone killed it, but a 13 year old rider named Zack stole the show - both in racing and the long jump! There were a few good wrecks throughout the day including Jerry Gohs who literally broke his mini quad IN HALF, but everyone who went down was good, tuffed through it, and kept racing.
Huge shoutouts to NR Racing, Studz Racing, and Brad Butler (Big Nasty Bikes) for sponsoring us and giving us some great products and gift certificates to give to the winners. All of the first place winners were able to walk away with a giveaway item, and three riders took home trophies.

Also have to give a massive shoutout to Cody Wright for letting us use his property and track, prepping the yard and helping us groom the track, and for just being a straight up badass and great human.
The last shoutout goes to Kaelin Claypool. She came out and rode for the first time, broke her bike, fixed it and rode until it broke again. After that she spent the rest of her day getting some world class photos of everyone racing! We're dropping a bunch of her photos right now, and there will be some other pictures and photos posted in the next few days also! Her Venmo is if anyone else wants to send her a donation for her time!
