GILLEY MOBILE RV SERVICE LLC WILL NOT BE SERVICING THE EASTERN UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN IN 2026.

Travis was diagnosed with high risk, high growth prostate cancer mid-February. Travis still has several tests and procedures needed before a cancer treatment plan can be finalized. Since it looks like it could be middle of June before treatment starts, we have made the difficult decision to stay in Texas for the summer. With the cost of diesel fuel, we need to be able to work July and August to make the expenses work. Since it will be likely be sometime in August before his treatment ends, we will stay in Texas this year.

We hope you have an AWESOME 2026 camping season! We are very disappointed that we can’t be there to experience it firsthand! We look forward to seeing you in 2027.

ALL IN A DAY’S WORK! Being a mobile RV technician requires you to be a jack of all trades! At a minimum, being a great mobile RV technician requires skills to be an electrician, plumber, carpenter, and mechanic, while being extremely resourceful and willing to think outside of the box. Things we have learned include:

• No two RVs are alike.
• No two working days are the same.
• Customers call with an issue, which may or may not be a symptom of a completely different issue.
• Our favorite words are “While you are here, can you fix….?”
• Campers see us working in a campground and now want their issues fixed. Can we work them into the schedule?

We must be ready for whatever comes our way and shift gears with every phone call, text, or email, while coordinating our schedule. We love this work and all the wonderful people we meet along the way!
