Making a good effort this evening to make an appearance in Caseville, Michigan for the cruise night tonight. If you're going and you see me, come say hi. If you see me with lights and sirens on behind me, no you didn't...

When they show up in puzzle pieces. That's how you know it'll be a good one. Get ready for old tractor videos. It's been WAY too long since I've had one of these projects. Case 400 diesel.

That my friends, is a view I was not expecting to see this spring. And it's a beautiful sight to see considering the scheduling and events that have taken priority in recent weeks. I've had to be in the main shop or on the road for most of my time with farmers doing spring things these days. It's total chaos with the weather right now. So I made this happen between service calls. Carbureted 6.0 LS with an sm465 4 speed and np205 transfer case attached to it. A little old with a little new. And I managed to wedge it in there with 3 inch long tube headers. It's gunna work! Why you ask? Cause I want a stick shift, duh.

All done with surgery today. Came in with a relay issue that caused cooling problems. I wired in an aftermarket one and did an update on the rest of the wiring. Runs like a top. Cleaned it up and left it just like it came from factory. See? We don't always need to throw the kitchen sink at them.

Took a big step in the right direction with the k5 the past few weeks by patching the rear floor. I've been avoiding it. But now maybe I can trade the welder for a sander soon. This will at least let me media blasted and paint the underside. We're getting there! It just takes time.

Ok I'm going to try this now that holidays and taxes are over. The Hoosier fridge was spoken for twice and then backed out on twice after a week of waiting on money. The Marlin was banned from Tiktok so people never saw that it was available after I got hacked. So people basically forgot about these. You want one? Speak up and have your money ready to move. I'm not waiting on you to ask permission from your wife... It's going to whoever moves money first. I've got plans to get more projects started and need to move them anyway. It'd make more sense to put them on pallets heading for a new home. Both work perfectly. I've literally been using the Hoosier fridge in the front shop. If you need to ship it I can make arrangements for a price. If you want custom handles added the cost of time and material will be added after your purchase. They deserve good homes.

$1500 for the Marlin.
$2500 for the Hoosier.

Can't find em? Make em! My first ever scaled and printed fridge emblems. Is it original? No. Is it a replacement for hard to find pieces that can be used as temporary parts till you find the original stuff or a secondary permanent option that's still American made? Absolutely!

This is a game changer.

The past few months of people seeing me get my projects on the road (kinda) or making progress on builds (kinda) has sparked a lot of talk about people not being able to see car shows or the projects guys have put a lot of effort into. "I forgot you had that." Or "All these years and I never knew so-and-so had a car like that." But you never see them driven much. And that gave me a little idea of a "Tiny Town Takeover" for Michigan. Pick a small town on a weekend evening and do a pop-up car show on main street with a cruise vibe. Order food from the small businesses cafe/restaurants, support old gas stations, maybe throw in some food trucks for local food venders. Keep it like the old days and bring the old hotrod weekend warrior feeling back kind of thing. If people can't go to a car show. Bring one to them. Hardest part is starting the conversation. So where's my local gearheads at? Let's get some drones and get some roller shots of cool stuff.

1979 Chevy k5 project. I was putting this step off for a long time mostly cause I didn't want to do it. The whole raining sparks on your head sucks. But it could've been worse. This thing will be a rolling piece again by the end of spring. Mark my words! I'm calling my shot. Time to get the sandblaster out for the underside now that the weather is coming around. I'm going to make it happen.
