Snyder ISD Automotive The Snyder ISD Automotive Program is a school-based enterprise and part of the P-Tech Program at Snyder High School.

The official Snyder ISD Automotive page is created and maintained for the purpose of engaging with the residents of Snyder. SISD schools and programs may have additional pages that are maintained by other individuals. On all pages, it is expected that participants treat each other with respect.

Really proud of this group right here.
These students from our Snyder Automotive Program just earned their ASE Entry Level G1 Certification in Maintenance and Light Repair. This isn’t easy they’ve put in the time, the effort, and the hands on work to get here.

From learning basic maintenance to building real shop skills, they’ve been putting in the work every day. It’s great to see it pay off with something that actually matters in the industry.

Excited to see where they go from here. Keep it up, guys you are on the right track.

Today, one of our automotive classes visited the bus barn to learn about school bus maintenance. Students performed an oil change, replaced a strobe light, installed a new air filter, and topped off fluids while learning about diesel engines. It was a great hands-on experience, and some students even expressed interest in working at the bus barn this summer or after graduation.

On Friday, the automotive chapter of Skills USA came to compete in Odessa. They competed in automotive maintenance light repair and service technology. This team showed the great talent they have. These boys grew as auto tech and learned valuable lessons during these competitions.
