Pay It Forward for Brett Bailey The Brett Hamilton Bailey Memorial Fund is a community outreach program to help local families in need. Do something extravagant and out of the ordinary.

When we started this page, we had no idea how much our ideas and outreach would grow. We now have the ability to provide help throughout the year through our Brett Hamilton Bailey Memorial Fund. September 1st, marks 21 years that Brett was killed in an automobile accident by a drunk driver. To make this day special, instead of depressing, I'm asking you all to do something tomorrow and in the comi

ng month in his honor. I want this next month to be a Pay It Forward in his honor! So, open a door for someone, pay for a coffee for a total stranger, or buy someone's meal. Did you know that one very small thing could make someone's day? What if you changed someone's outlook? What if your random act of kindness sparked a wildfire of kind acts? It is amazing at what a smile or friendly gesture can do. I'm challenging you all to do something in Brett's name in the next month. You can donate to the cause - being that we take the money and help other families in similar situations. We have put all of the donations into an account in Brett's name. We plan on using that money when there is someone in need or someone who has experienced tragedies like ours. ❀ We are a small organization in Ball Ground who works throughout the year to provide assistance to families local to our area. This year, with the help of partners, we sponsored an entire family for Christmas, provided groceries multiple times during the year, and other miscellaneous things for our teachers and local schools. If we see a need, we do our best to help. ❀ If you'd like to donate this Giving Tuesday, we would be honored to continue supporting the community any way we can.

I always wondered if he would have pursued being an active member of the military - we always thought he would. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

He always had a servant heart, so we opened up the BHB Memorial Fund in his honor 21 years ago. We use this fund to help others in our community in a multitude of ways.

We have given scholarships, helped with meals or medical bills for those who are sick or suffered tragedies, sponsoring families in need at Christmas, and we have always been spontaneous with just paying it forward.

If you feel led to donate to our fund this year, I set up a separate account instead of a Facebook fundraiser. Now you can donate via PayPal to [email protected].

This year, you may also use this email address to request prayer, or let us know if there is someone close to you who is in need. Our community has grown so much, that we don't "know" everyone like we used to. ❀πŸ₯°

19 years ago, this handsome kid (my brother who was 16) in this photo πŸ‘‡ I'm holding was killed by a drunk driver - on his way to a football game with 3 of his friends. They [[ALL]] passed away within 2 hours of the accident. πŸ’”

While in this case, the drunk driver was indeed a middle-aged, Male ADULT, I'm sending a message for this weekend to EVERYONE who has a driver's license. πŸ™

Please. There is a [[ZERO]] tolerance for and driving a vehicle. 🚫

If you have a beer, a glass of wine, kick back with friends at a restaurant with a pitcher, go to a bar and share a shot, go to a friend's house and have a drink have a completely SOBER driver to take you home. πŸ’— There are so many ways to avoid getting behind the wheel:
