Had a great weekend at Road Atlanta last week weather cooperated and got some great track times. The CGCC track team left rubber on the ground saw 1:35 lap times and all came home unscathed. Then Monday started around here, slow start to the week but after we got to the phones and e-mails we were off to the races again. Must be spring time!

Its been a while since I have had a few minutes but after my stroke on October I have been hard at it and the cars are stacking up again, so thanks to all.
this past weekend I spent time at Michelin Road Atlanta and shared some great time with track buddies from the past, Scott Marshall new C8, Don Bailey C5 and Mark West in his C5. The track was fast and everybody made the ground shake .
Sunday I spent with RLH, Roman Hacket and one of his race customers Matt Ixbell and his C5 World Challenge Car
Lastly it was time for a little reflection since this was our second outing of the year Savannah Reobling Road. Some day I have to pinch myself as I realize I started back tracking in 2017 with my C5 ZO6

Team, something all us gear heads do is buy parts. I am no different and I have a large supplier list for the C1-C6,s I regularly buy from. When original or some parts are not available we must go to the reputable used parts professionals.
I used such a used professional , 50 Stars Auto parts in Dallas Tx. Phone 469-942-5571 got online cfilled out the request form and got a call back from a salesman who seemed very knowledgeable. there was some questions about the car in question and he said with the vin they could find the correct part. Happily I paid $685.00 and waited for expedited shipping. The part arrived and unfortunately it was wrong. I contacted them for a RGA or refund and was told there would be a 25% handling charge for the return. WHAT, I could understand 10% or 15% for a special order but your people picked the part from all the information you requested including the vin which I was told was fail safe for this part. How is this my fault.
Buyer beware I would never do business with these people in a lifetime and I share this so no one else will as well

Hey race fans and 1990-1995 ZR1 lovers I am looking for a needle in a haystack. I have a customer 1992 ZR1 tht needs a Computer. It has been out to a few repair places with no luck.
