Chevy Cruze or Malibu. Air charge piping cracked will cause air boost pressure codes and throw the fuel trims off....very common on these vehicles, make sure to check all piping and connections for an air tight seal before testing sensors for malfunctions...Will save you plenty of time. Also make sure air filter is seated and installed properly. On these modern cars the slightest imperfections can cause serious issues...paying attention to detail is key to finding the culprit sooner than later.

2019 nissan pathfinder, canister vent valve code caused by an open circuit, always check harnesses where they bend and pass through sharp edged metal holes...something caused the harness to dig into the edge of hole it passes through causing cut wires...its not always the component, check power & grounds first before changing parts!

2019 Infiniti QX60. A customer was unable to pass emissions and subsequently brought the vehicle to me. Diagnostic codes P015C and P014E were present, indicating a slow response from the bank 2 upstream oxygen sensor. Additionally, code P0335 was also detected, which pertains to the crankshaft position sensor and was intermittent.

I replaced the crankshaft position sensor first, assuming the oxygen sensor would be the next component to be replaced. Following the installation of the crankshaft position sensor, I cleared the codes and conducted a test drive. No codes reappeared, including the oxygen sensor codes, and all monitors were completed, allowing the vehicle to pass emissions.

Surprisingly, I concluded that the faulty crankshaft position sensor was also causing false readings from the oxygen sensor, resulting in the oxygen sensor code being triggered. The key takeaway from this experience is that if oxygen sensor codes are present in conjunction with crankshaft or camshaft sensor codes, it is advisable to replace the crankshaft or camshaft sensors first and then reassess to determine if other codes reappear.
