Had a younger rider come by for a 3 holes oil change on a Harley. He is missing a bell, so I ordered one for him. Plan on giving it to him tomorrow.

Pardon the bad pic, been working on a GL1500 all evening, and I am wiped out.

Made a parallel twin valve chart real quick, I do need to change the firing order marks in the cylinders.

I’m doing this one for parts cost. Complaint of a chain that wouldn’t stay tight on top of the 24k service for a Ninja 650.

This is not a 520 chain, riding on a 520 front and rear sprocket. Huge safety risk, so doing this one on the house.

Triumph Bonneville America in for service. Checked valve clearances, checked cam tensioner, repinned the crank pickup connector and installed new chain. Additionally put in some progressive front springs, fabricated the spacer and set fork oil level as per manufacturer.

Side note, I know progressive sells the same spring for many different models, but I’d like to see spring spacers come with these kits.

To all you younger guys, get in the habit of leaving notes for stuff like this. You get hot, you get tired, you have three other projects in various stages. That minute spent on tagging a project can save you thousands from one overlooked item.

Entered the FZR into a show awhile back and forgot to post pics. Lost to the Moto Guzzi next to me, that I did a clutch and drive service on just before the show.

Electrical work today. Have a VTX1800 on its third starter. Could be solenoid or one way clutch. Time to do some digging!

Really triumph? You’re going to stick the filter in a spot where the only option is buying the Triumph filter wrench, which then slips off anyway since the o-ring has swollen, so it has to be spun with a cold chisel indent and a punch.
