If your lawn equipment has been sitting for a while, this right here is why it won’t run right 👇

Gas left sitting in your carburetor doesn’t just “stay gas.” Over time, it breaks down and turns into varnish and deposits that clog up small passages and jets—just like what you see in this picture. That buildup keeps fuel from flowing correctly, which leads to hard starting, rough running, or no start at all.

Even a few months of sitting can cause problems, especially with today’s ethanol-blended fuel. It attracts moisture, separates, and leaves behind corrosion and gunk inside your carb.

💡 How to prevent it:• Don’t let equipment sit long with gas in it• Run it every couple weeks if possible• Use fuel stabilizer if it’s going to sit• Drain the carb or tank before long storage

A simple step can save you from a full carb clean or replacement later on.
