Driver Risk Management and safety start on day one. The strongest onboarding programs give drivers safety principles they can apply to any situation on the road, not just a checklist to complete.

A national food and beverage retailer standardized onboarding across 22 distribution centers with the Smith5Keys®. Over two years, preventable accidents declined by 38%, and average indemnity cost per incident fell from about $43,000 to $1,134. The Eastern Region of WSDOT cut annual incidents by about 30% and sustained that safety performance as its workforce grew.
