At Bay Rat Boats, having fun on the water is what we're all about—but safety always comes first.

Every boat leaves the dock fully equipped with all the required safety gear, including life jackets, a throwable flotation device, a whistle, a fire extinguisher, a push pole, a paddle, and an anchor. We even include gas in our pricing.

In Texas, children under 13 years old are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while underway. We also strongly encourage everyone—regardless of age—to wear a life jacket whenever they're out on the water. It's one of the easiest ways to make sure a great day on the bay stays a great day.

So grab your family and friends, enjoy everything the South Texas coast has to offer, and let Bay Rat Boats help you make some great memories.
