Canyon Lake Drawdown — Day 13

25/09/2026

We came across these photos from the last Canyon Lake drawdown in 2007. We thought you might enjoy seeing what the lake looked like nearly 20 years ago.

There are also some photos from the 1968 drawdown. Who all remembers cruising around in a station wagon like that?

Canyon Lake Drawdown — Day 1

The drawdown officially started today.

We took a photo yesterday and another one today from about the same spot. The difference is pretty subtle, but you can already see the water starting to drop along the edge of the lake.

We’ll keep taking pictures and posting periodically. It’ll be interesting to look back at these first photos and see just how much it changes over the next couple of weeks.

As One Season Winds Down, Another Begins

As boating season winds down, RV season is just getting started!

For boat owners, now is the time to start thinking about maintenance, repairs, and upgrades before spring. Taking care of those projects during the off-season can help avoid the spring rush.

For RV owners, cooler weather means it’s time to get back on the road and explore. It’s also a great time to get started on repairs and other projects that may have been put off during the summer.

Whether you’re preparing your boat for the off-season or getting your RV ready for your next adventure, planning ahead gives you more time to get the work done before you need it.

📞 Give Scanlan RV Marine a call at 480-442-4809 and get on our schedule.

Pressure washing not only makes your boat look better—it gives you a chance to inspect the hull and other underwater components for damage. It also helps prevent lake buildup from staining your hull. Call or text 480-442-4809 to get on our schedule and have Joe’s Suds N Scrubs pressure wash your boat. They also do RVs, cars, and more!

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗩 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿?

After a summer of escaping the heat and enjoying the road, now is a good time to give your RV a little attention.

A few things to think about:

• Awning, slide, or leveling system problems
• Plumbing or water leaks
• Electrical issues or battery concerns
• Appliances that aren't working quite right
• Repairs you've been putting off

Taking care of these items now can help keep a small issue from becoming a bigger inconvenience down the road.

And if your RV needs a good cleaning after a busy summer, we can help with that too.

Call or text 480-442-4809 to get on our schedule.
