Last night I had a customer with a log splitter. Somehow the electric fuel shut off valve was stuck open and filled the engine with gas.
Must have been there for a while because it took all the oils and made the crank hard to turn. I put some PB blaster in the cylinder for 30 min and cycled new oil 3 times to clean. After that I got it started and it runs like a charm now.
Moral of the story get your stuff serviced. Take it to someone you can trust (ME) to have them just look at your machine. It doesn’t have to be broken to have it inspected. Every time I pull out my machines I check all fluids especially gas before I try to crank it over.
Have a blessed day and stay warm through this storm!!!
