We just finished up this brand new driveway install over in Clay County today. The customer wanted pea gravel for the install so we had 16 tons brought in after we got everything graded, then spread and packed in the stone.

Here's a quick little driveway rehab from earlier today. A few little rough areas and some standing water in places, but the potholes have been dug out and it's all been smoothed, pitched and crowned. Future plans are to add some more material to build up the roadway, but for now their driveway is both usable and functional.

After some suspension work on "Biscuit" today, we went just North of Murphy for a quick junk cleanout. After we loaded everything up, we headed out and made it back into Andrews just as the storms were approaching. The wind and lightning were intense!

Quick topic we feel needs to be addressed.

We've gotten a few messages/comments regarding certain projects where we have graded driveways without the use of additional material, including the driveway pictured below. Saying it would wash out, not last long, etc. While we understand and appreciate everyone's concern, there are times that additional material is not needed, as well as times that customers simply do not have the budget for additional material.

That being said, we take all possible steps to ensure the longevity of each and every driveway that we work on regardless of the budget that we have to work with while giving our customers realistic expectations of the work done. This particular driveway was extremely rutted and washed out, in some places over 18 inches deep. We didn't bring in any additional material, used what was available to us and over 6 months later the driveway was still fully usable.

At the end of the day, our goal is to meet our customers needs however necessary. Everyone deserves to have a usable, functional driveway, and we're going to do as much as we possibly can to make that happen.
