I had the sweetest little visitor at work the other day!

My first taxidermy restoration! Not bad for the first try. Meet Gideon! This crocidile I believe came from Columbia, my grandfather was riding oil tankers on the east coast in 1945 at the end of WW2. He put into Cartegena if I remember correctly. Besides that I know it's from around the year 1945, as that's when my grandfather was sailing. This little guy had busted front arms, tail and one of the eye balls deteriorating. Thankfully I was able to salvage everything but the eye. Unfortunately I was unable to put it entirely back together as it is literally stuffed and bursting out the seams, but he's as close to orginal as possible and hoping to have another 80 years in my family. (Maybe one day my grandkids will argue who gets ownership 🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆)
