I had many things lined up for my # 1 favorite “must have” gift, yet none of them seemed worthy enough. They were all a click and credit card number away and that’s not the message I wanted to share.
It was when my daughter said “I know what your #1 is...it is the letters you write to us!” It took me a minute when I then realized what it was that she found as a “must have”! I guess I never realized it before now.
Such a simple thing just changed “my” life forever.

Day 6: Anthropologie Candles

I don’t ever walk into my house after a long day at work, when I don’t feel grateful for a roof over my head and the comfort of being warm! Yet it’s the smell and mood of lit scented candles that make feel relaxed and happy. It instantly puts me in a calm mindset and makes me feel like I’m where I should be. I’ve tried so many candles but my all time favorite will always be the largest jar candle Anthropologie makes! The smell of Honeysuckle or Peonies puts me in a good place! I do take advantage of their store wide sales to stock up or my birthday month to get 15-20% off. Another guilty please I can’t live without!!

Day 5: Noni’s Homemade English Toffee

Just when you think it couldn’t get better!
Watch out Oprah because you missed this one!!! Let me re-introduce you to toffee and when I say toffee I’m not talking about the stick in your teeth, pull out your implants toffee, I am talking about the most sensational, crunchy yet melt in your mouth toffee. Did I mention homemade, literally in her home by the owner !!! When you taste it you will understand why she keeps this recipe a secret. This is by far a guilty pleasure you will want to share! There’s only one small glitch. She only makes it from Oct-May. The warm months of summer would effect the recipe so its made only when the climate is right! Day 4: Rothy’s

These are amazing!! . Just when you think shoes can’t be cute, stylish and comfy, a shoe called Rothy is born! What makes it even more amazing is that it is made from recycled plastic!! As in water bottles. Thes shows can be washed and are not only the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn but absolutely adorable. Day 3: heated throw!

So far these are definitely seasonal favorites but they are all items that make great gifts for most, not to mention yourself! It’s what keeps me “semi” sane in the New England winter months.
We all know about electric blankets. This is NOT that! This is a Heated Throw that you use on your couch. There are 3 levels of heat and let me tell you, there is nothing sweeter than climbing under that when your feet are frozen! Found my first throw at Walmart for $29.99 and have found others since of course on amazon in many colors. They are a perfect gift from young to elderly!

Day two: Tabletop Fireplace

If you are not lucky enough to have a fireplace in your home or apartment and you miss the mood changing atmosphere of a relaxing fire, than this is the next best thing! This small but awesome table top accent is another must have! Brookstones sold out of every style I found it on Amazon after some searching.

Things to know:
* Once full it burns for 3-4 hours
You need to buy the fuel from amazon because no one sells it locally Anywhere!! I’ve looked. I burn a bottle a night and order it by the case.
* It is safe as long as you don’t have small children and it does give off some heat but not much. There is no smell or fumes and It can be moved to any table top and it just adds to a most deserving space that you can create yourself.
* My tip is buy the fuel by the case. It takes almost an entire bottle to fill and will go out when burned for approx 3 hours. Another Winner for sure!!!!!!

Day One of Mickeys Must Haves! I got as a gift this past Christmas and I honestly don’t know how I have ever lived without them.

I’ve never felt anything so unbelievably soft. These are by far the perfect gift for someone special and that includes yourself. You need to experience them to understand what I mean. This is a winner! Splurge. You are deserving, I promise!
