Added a new printer to the shop — the Ideaformer IR3, a belt printer. 🖨️ Since it prints on a moving belt instead of a flat bed, it's not boxed in by bed size — we can now print long parts in one continuous piece. Think tail lights, beltline trim — stuff that just wasn't practical on a normal printer before.

🙌 This Community Is the Whole Reason We Do This 🙌

Shows like Fierorama, Kellogg Fiero Klasik and the Heartland Fiero Show are why Tear 20 Customs exists in the first place — getting to stand behind a table and talk Fieros with people who get it, all day long, never gets old.

If you're anywhere in the Midwest and haven't made it to one of these yet, put it on the list for next year. Great people, wild builds, and always something new to learn from somebody else's car.

🔥 My Own Fiero Is Getting the 3800SC Treatment 🔥

Stepping away from the shop products for a second — this one's personal.

I'm swapping a supercharged 3800SC (pulled out of a Buick Park Avenue) into my own Fiero, behind a 4-speed Muncie for now. Doing every bit of the install myself, no shop labor, and setting it up to run E85 right from the start.

There's a bigger plan down the road, but for now — just getting this thing running and driving. Watching my own build come together is half the fun of doing this for a living. 🚗

🖤 Blackout vs. Smoked — Side by Side 🖤

You asked, so here it is: our Apex Pegasus DRLs with the blackout lens on the left and the smoked lens on the right.

The blackout lens diffuses the light for a smoother, more even glow. The smoked lens lets each LED show through for more of a pixel look. We've also got clear lenses if you'd rather keep it classic.

🖨️ What Your Parts Are Actually Printed From 🖨️

Quick behind-the-scenes one for anyone curious how the sausage gets made.

We're moving all our 3D printing over to Push Plastic filament — a US-made brand with better consistency spool to spool. Doesn't sound like much until you're printing hundreds of parts a month and one bad batch can wreck an entire run.

Small decision, but it's the kind of thing that keeps every part that ships out actually built right. 💪

Fierorama 2026 was our first time showing the Apex Pegasus DRL system to the Fiero community in person — and the response was incredible. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and checked it out!

Now it's time to make it official. DRL Preorders are OPEN! 🙌

This is a fully integrated, plug-and-play DRL and front turn system built from the ground up specifically for the Pontiac Fiero. No hacking. No splicing. No compromises. Just clean, intelligent lighting the way it should have come from the factory.

Installation is simple — run keyed power to the red wire to activate the DRLs, and everything else works just like our standard lights. We're including an add-a-fuse for that hookup, and a plug-and-play adapter for keyed power is already in the works to make it even easier.

We've got an idea in the works for a cold air intake setup — 2.8 V6 Fieros — and before we go all-in on it, we want to hear from you.

The pictured intake is similar to what we're considering building — purpose-built and engineered to fit the Fiero platform the right way. No more making do with generic setups or hacked together solutions.

🔦 Something's Cooking in the Headlight Department 🔦

We've been quiet about this one on purpose — but it's time for a peek.

We're deep in R&D on a pop-up headlight upgrade for the Fiero. Nothing ready to show in full yet, but the early mockups already have us fired up about where this is headed. 🔥

This is exactly the kind of project the Founders Tear list exists for — when it's ready for a real car, testers hear about it first.

More updates as we get further along. Stay tuned. 👀
