Trickle's Tire & Automotive Del’s son Darwin began working for his father in 1981 and now, Darwin’s son Derek, the 3rd generation Trickle, is behind the counter.

We are a family owned business since 1953 and specialize in general maintenance & vehicle repairs, oil changes, alignments, lift kits as well as tires and wheels. Trickle’s Tire and Auto has been locally owned and operated, serving the Ames community since 1960.Del began work at Waters Firestone, which is now Trickle’s, in 1960. Community and family are very important to us and we can’t wait to serve the Ames and Central Iowa community for many, many years to come.
