Thank you to those who braved getting wet (it was dry after about 11AM) and joined us at the Unter Uns club in Altoona for Oktoberfest on Saturday. Everyone enjoyed the food, drink and festivities. Special thanks to the members of Pittsburgh's Fresh Air VW Club (posed for a pic with me) who made the trip for the first time. I hope there are many return trips in your future! Happy to announce the PLCB has approved the expansion of the club's liquor license into the grass field next to the Unter Uns for the car show on September 7th during the Oktoberfest - VolksCrüze 2024. This means car owners and show visitors can carry drinks purchased at the club back and forth from the field to the club grounds. Per PLCB regulations ALL DRINKS - ALCOHOLIC AND NON ALCOHOLIC - CONSUMED IN THE AREA OF EXTENDED LICENSE MUST HAVE BEEN PURCHASED AT THE UNTER UNS. Attendees showing their cars in the asphalt parking lot rather than the grass field may continue to consume water and soda they brought with them but may not carry those drinks onto the licensed premise. PLCB regulations folks!!! Hope to see you all on Sept 7!!

Join Logan Valley Vee Dub Sept 7, 2024 for VolksCrüze 2024 at the Unter Uns Altoona Oktoberfest celebration. This no cost, no judge, show will take place from noon til 5PM on the grounds of the Unter Uns Altoona, 1401 Van Buren Ave, Altoona PA 16602. Show is open to all makes in the Volkswagen Auto Group and ALL our German auto cousins! Limited grass spots available along with the paved parking lot. Hotdogs, sauerkraut, and snacks available at 1pm with the full German kitchen open at 4pm. Bar opens at noon. Live entertainment outside from 3-5pm. Show participants can purchase discounted Oktoberfest tickets for only $6 and enjoy the Unter Uns festivities from 4pm til midnight. Food, drink, and live music with Madel Jäger from Pittsburgh from 6-9 outside and then music from 100 Proof inside from 9-midnight.
