That tiny light issue. That tire you meant to check later. That paperwork you thought was “probably fine.” At the scale house, small problems can turn into big delays fast.

A North American Standard Level I inspection checks both sides of the job: the driver and the truck. CDL, med card, logs, HOS, seat belt, tires, brakes, lights, securement, coupling, suspension, steering, it’s all fair game.

This is why a clean pre-trip and clean paperwork are not “extra.” They protect your clock, your paycheck, and your record.
