QED Tuning has a very important ANNOUNCEMENT:
4 years ago, I started my own company with the idea of bringing affordable EFI testing and tuning to the masses. In the beginning I had no idea how I was going to make it work, I just started grinding. Road tuning where I could, reading all the information on EFI that was available. Attending EFI University and Calibrated success (I've actually attended calibrated success more time than I can count! Thank you Greg, for everything by the way!). I formed an LLC IN 2013, pooled all my resources, liquidated my "toys" and with a little help, purchased a Dynocom Industries 15000fx trailer.
A good friend of mine named Brandon had once told me (probably jokingly and in passing) that if I ever did buy a dyno, he had a spot for it at his shop Allpro Subaru. Low and behold he was serious!
The next 4 years were nothing short of amazing. I never dreamed that I would be traveling , not only all over the country but all over the world in service to the automotive community at large. Not to mention building an incredible customer base, I love each and every one of you guys/gals! You made this possible for me!
I've had the honor of bringing my equipment to some of the most popular automotive events like TX2K, Street Car Takeover, SoWo, Euex, Boxerfest and even our own Dana Palmer's Tougefest! I even tuned some cars for the movies!
But my life priorities have changed, I've been doing some heavy thinking. Running a business is a TON of hard work. I enjoy the living I make doing this and it has been good to me. But I've come to the very personal decision that I have higher priorities in my life right now. I want to be able to enjoy personal relationships more, I want more time to spend with my family.
I'm not simply throwing my hands in the air and walking away. I WILL BE TAKING A 90 DAY EXTENDED HIATUS, from QED. The hiatus begins in 45 days. I will not be accepting any new clients in the meantime but will be finishing all of my current clients and appointments. So if we have spoken about tuning or if you are in queue from your build with one of the shops I work with locally, you will be taken car of! I will offer support to existing clients over my hiatus. I will offer support to those race teams I work with during this time as well.
After 90 days, I will most likely be ready to start a new chapter in my life. If I decide to return after 90 days an announcement will be made.
I appreciate each and every one of you who made QED a reality! It has been a wild ride and I've had a blast the whole time, but at this point in my life, my personal relationships are everything. I need time to enjoy my life and the people in it.
