Larry Maynard Memorial Car & Bike Show 1/7/16 Larry Maynard passed away. His love of car shows will live on in his hometown of Alexandria. What car guy in Indiana did not know Larry Maynard?

This car show has found a new home during the Kiwanis Madison County 4-H Fair in Alexandria. In 2015, he was the last original vendor at the James Dean festival in Fairmount...never missing a single year since year 1. On Thursday, January 7th, 2016, Larry left this world suddenly after a brief illness. There is a great void. His daughter, Lori, has partnered with the Alexandria-Monroe Chamber of C

ommerce to plan and host future car shows in Larry's memory. It will always be a free car show to enter - donations are welcome.

The weather is looking iffy for Saturday.
Rain or Shine, we will be there for the 10th Annual Larry Maynard Memorial Car & Bike Show 2026
I am not able to reschedule the show.

There will be a car show the following weekend (Saturday, August 8, 2026 hosted by TANL House at the same park)

I am hopeful that the weather will hold out or just be a period of brief sprinkles as we have had in the past. This show is to raise money for a trade school scholarship and we have some beautiful awards this year.

A little broken hearted to picture it being rained out but it is what it is and is what it will be.

I hope to still see ya there. But understand many may not choose to tempt the weather.

If it is severe weather, it will have to be canceled. But until that day arrives, i cannot make that call just yet. Please use your best judgment and do what is best for you.
