Larry Maynard Memorial Car & Bike Show 1/7/16 Larry Maynard passed away. His love of car shows will live on in his hometown of Alexandria. What car guy in Indiana did not know Larry Maynard?

This car show has found a new home during the Kiwanis Madison County 4-H Fair in Alexandria. In 2015, he was the last original vendor at the James Dean festival in Fairmount...never missing a single year since year 1. On Thursday, January 7th, 2016, Larry left this world suddenly after a brief illness. There is a great void. His daughter, Lori, has partnered with the Alexandria-Monroe Chamber of Commerce to plan and host future car shows in Larry's memory. It will always be a free car show to enter - donations are welcome.

FYI: This page has 0 info about vendor spots at any other car shows. I simply share other car show fliers for those who enjoy attending these local events. Also, the Larry Maynard Memorial Car & Bike Show does not accept vendors. It is held during a county fair and it (the county fair) has its own vendor application for the week.

If you leave a comment inquiring about vendors, your comment is automatically hidden through moderation assist and may not be seen by me. Far too many people create fake profiles claiming to be event organizers and encourage you to PM them to pay for these non-existent spots.

Most (not all) event fliers have contact information. If no contact information is on the flier, look up the event name in the Facebook search bar. You will likely find the official page :)

Happening today (Saturday, Aug 8th) is the 6th annual Summer Dayz car show held by Turn Away No Longer Inc in Beulah Park, Alexandria. There will be food trucks, vendors and much more. Looks as though they may have better weather today than we had last weekend. Great to see such large events take root in Alexandria.
