Dear friend of Hickory Hills, we miss you, we are closely following the ever changing rules and guidelines set by the governor. As of today we are unable to allow any recreational camping only or seasonal campers are allowed on the property to their own sites. Just FYI , we do have a few seasonal spots available, i realize seasonal camping isn't everyone's ideal option but if your looking to go camping in this unusual season we have a spot for you. Please message me, call me or email me for any info we would love to give you Different landscape to shelter in place at. Stay well and stay safe.
Here are the current official guidelines.

This is incredible upsetting, and I am sorry to have to post this. The campground now needs to be closed to anyone who is not a"resident" so any seasonal camper who does not live on the property during the camping season will need to wait until may 4 th to camp. I know I said it was only for recreational camping but they have since changed the verbiage. Please know we are as upset if not more about this new as you are.

Hello Hickory Hills family,
These are very uncertain times and I think we all would probably love to "shelter in place" at the campground. Our goal is to still open up April 15th , The shelter in place should be lifted on April 10th. I will be contacting the state tomorrow to get a clearer picture as to what private campgrounds are suppose to do, It was brought o my attention that ALL DNR FACILITIES ARE CLOSED. we a re a privately own campground which has different rules. please be patient and try not to assume the worse. lets try and find the blessings in a very difficult unsure time.
I watched my church on line today and the message was on Phillipians 4: 6-8

Let's believe in the power of good.

07/29/2019

Good morning, due to the chemicals being off in the pool it will be closed today Monday July 29th period sorry for the inconvenience but safety 1st

07/21/2019

I hate having to make posts like however for the safety and respect of all of I will do so.

THE SPEED LIMIT ON THE ROAD COMING TO THE CAMPGROUND IS 10 MPH THEN IT SLOWS TO 5 MPH, IF YOU MAKE AIR GOING OVER THE SPEED BUMP COMING INTO THE CAMPGROUND YOUR PROBABLY EXCEEDING THAT NUMBER.

THE SPEED LIMIT INSIDE THE CAMPGROUND IS 5 MPH, WE HAVE WATCHED AND BEEN TOLD THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE NOT ABIDING BY THAT RULE, WE HAVE MANY KIDS THAT RUN AROUND, RIDE THEIR BIKES AND PLAY IN THE AREA, SO WE ARE INSTILLING A $5.00 FINE FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE AND A $50.00 FINE FOR THE 2ND THIRD OFFENSE WILL BE GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF YOUR SEASONAL/CAMPING LEASE AGREEMENT. OUR FOCUS IS KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE.WE HATE TO BE RIGID BUT THE FIRST AND FOREMOST IMPORTANT THING IS SAFETY.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO DRIVE IN THE PARK DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET ANY UNLICENSED PERSON DRIVE ANY MOTOR OPERATED VEHICLE ON THIS PROPERTY.

These requests will strictly enforced.

Like I said we are wanting to keep all people safe while enjoying Hickory Hills Campground, please help us in making this a safe place. If you see something say something.

07/20/2019

Hello Hickory Hills Family, Well we didn't see that coming!. Weather got pretty rough here, we have some trees down but other than that everyone is safe and that is what matters. So, we are still planning on the potluck so please stop in, I'm a little unsure on the Christmas decorating contest because many are down, what are your thoughts? we have a lot of clean up to do but we are strong and a family.

07/16/2019

Hello Hickory Hills friends and family. I just wasn't too clear some things up regarding the pool.
A. Pool hours are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
B. The poll is ONLY open to seasonal residents and registered guest.
C. NO ONE UNDER 14 is allowed in the pool without an adult, An adult is someone over the age of 18 please do not have your under 18 year old watch younger siblings/ friends. This will be strictly enforced.
D. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS IN THE POOL AREA, if we find you with glass you will be asked to leave, if glass breaks in the pool area the pool will need to be drained and it will NOT be refilled, so please let's all look out for the best interests of the pool.
We have worked very hard at creating a beautiful pool, we are proud of it and hope that all of us will work together to keep it open, clean and safe.
Jennifer

A Big Shout out going to Hickory Hills Campground. Our Seasonal Family pulled it together for another great year. I also want to include the overnight campers too, as I know a few who come each year to help make-a-wish be a success. This year AGAIN it was a huge success. We had a lot of new, different ideas that were a lot of fun and each and every person helped make it another great year. Way to go Everyone at Hickory Hills Campground. There will be a few children with smiles on their faces when they hear they get their wish. THANK YOU ALL!!
This is a great camper! Our family loves it and will miss it, but we just aren't using it as much as we used to. With 3 bump outs it sleeps 8 comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom, two pull out couches, and the kitchen table converts to a bed as well. All appliances (including a full size fridge), air conditioning, and heat work great. New flooring installed in the kitchen and bathroom. I have inside photos if you would like to see. Call or text 507-696-5404
We had a great time celebrating Hawaiian weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Island! 🌴
Just wondering if anyone is interested in outdoor fireplace before I put on sale sights in Albert Lea? Fall is sneaking up on us and would make for a nice cozy evening ! New in box, never taken out! Dimensions in pic.... will deliver to campground $125.00 OBO
Do you allow swimming there even if your not registered/ camping there? If so cost?
Owners are fantastic. Very accommodating. They stayed open late and kept the pool open for us when we got behind schedule for an overnight stop. Nice campground.
We are not sure who to thank directly, but my daughters and I would like to thank everyone for the generous gift that Brad and Angie dropped off at our camper yesterday. I am so humbled by everyone's generosity. This is truly a very tight family that we are proud to be a part of. Thank you again...
Want to thank hickory hills for an awesome 4th july weekend..thanks so much for the cookout and the spectacular fireworks. You guys are doing a fantastic job! Fyi, the pool looks beautiful everytime I go by it..
Will there be a gulf cart 4th of July parade? What day?
Curious if you still have rentals? And if so, what are the rates?
Is the pool going to be open this wknd? If not, when? Thanks.
