Three Bears Design

Three Bears Design www.threebearsdesign.com | [email protected]
Three Bears Design is an Ohio-based creative engagement collective that harnesses a variety of mediums—from cutting edge digital to handcrafted needlework, screenprinting and illustration—to craft compelling, emotionally engaging media experiences across all platforms. Fluent in modern design, branding, content development and practical implementation, Three Bears exists at the intersection of graphic design, narrative storytelling and contemporary culture and is uniquely positioned to handle all challenges of the converging media landscape. We can conceive it, produce it, brand it, package it, and even promote it.

Originally founded in 2006 by three artists, Three Bears Design has since expanded its ranks to become much more than just a design company; instead, we’re pushing the boundaries of what a creative collective of friends is capable of. Through our network of artists, we are simply able to meet any creative needs that you might have. We’ve had the honor of being featured by several distinguished art publications, and have worked with a diverse clientele, including the Microsoft Corporation, XL Records, Tooth and Nail/Solid State Records, Akron Children’s Hospital, and a massive roster of bands, musicians, and recording artists.

Three Bears Design, 2007-2014

It was a good run, friends, and we designed/illustrated/created wonderful things for wonderful artists, musicians, bands, and more.
Fun fact: when we began, we wrote down a 'dream list' of bands that we'd love to work with, but whom we'd likely never even come close to doing creative work for. When we all decided to amiably go our separate ways, we'd done creative work for every artist on that list and far, far more. And, we're still doing creative work - it's just that our journeys are relatively separate adventures now.

Charlie is doing amazing design, screen-printing, illustration, and more, and travels the world while doing it. Check out his current fun at: http://www.charliewagers.com/

Cheryl is still doing freelance illustration, has a decisive artistic role making magical greeting cards happen, and has put the rest of us to shame: frankly, she's created new life, which Charlie & I tip our hats too. Congrats to the Cochrans on the birth of their son.

As for me, I'm still illustrating on the side for those who are interested, along with creative consultation for those who need it. Mostly, however, my time is spent being a writer, preacher, storyteller, and teacher in coastal North Carolina. The beach is a pretty nice place to live.

Thanks again for your support, friends. We love you.

With appreciation,
Adam & the rest of the Three Bears team.

Steven Deeds is a singer-songwriter whom we've worked with in the past, and he's currently raising funds through Kickstarter for his new album. The reason we're sharing this with you is because if Steven gets fully funded, Three Bears Design is funded to work with him to illustrate and design both that new album AND the full-color illustrated picture book that's going to accompany it!

We're really excited about this possibility, and urge you to check out what Steven is doing (and, if you're willing and able, to support what he - and us - will be doing).
