How often should I have my car washed?
Your car should be washed every 1-2 weeks at the minimum. If your car is exposed to corrosive materials such as salt, sand, or industrial fallout, it should be washed often. Frequently washing your car is essential if you wish to prolong the life of your car's chrome and painted surfaces. As expected, these estimates may vary depending on whether your car is kept in a garage or outside.
How long do your car washes take?
Normally it takes 20-30 minutes for a car wash. If we are extremely busy and there are many cars ahead of you, please give us an extra 15 to 20 minutes; especially during lunch hours (12pm - 2pm). Another major factor is the size of the vehicle being washed, you should expect a little longer wait with a larger vehicle.
How long do your services take?
Waxes generally take 30-45 minutes, depending on how busy we are. Headlight Restoration can take anywhere from 30-40 minutes. Please plan on leaving your car here for any full detailing job, we will give you an accurate estimate once we see your car.
When should I wash off insect residue or bird droppings?
Both should be washed off as soon as possible especially if your vehicle is new. Insect residue and bird droppings contain acids that will immediately start to eat away a vehicle's finish if not removed in a timely fashion.
Is it true that my new vehicle shouldn't be washed for a certain period of time?
This is no longer true with today's vehicle finishes, a new vehicle needs tender care immediately and should be washed at a professional car wash if dirty.
Isn't rain the best wash for my vehicle?
Absolutely not, rain contains acids that eat away at the paint and finish of vehicles. After rain falls on a vehicle, the water does evaporate and go away, but the acid it contained remains on your vehicle. Concentrated by sunlight the acid can become strong enough to damage your vehicle's paint and appearance.
Why am I being charged a large vehicle fee?
