I just want to give a reminder to all those who plan to and already have me clean your seats.
If your car seat is expired, damaged, or unsafe in a way that I notice I will refuse to clean the seat. This is for many reasons the biggest being the safety of your child! I cannot lay my head down at the end of the day knowing I cleaned an obviously unsafe car seat for your child to hop into.
Thankfully no one has been upset or frustrated with me for refusals and I appreciate that.
I’m going to add some local resources you can use if you/your child receives SNAP, WIC, or has Mainecare. All you need is to provide proof of one of these services and a car seat will be ordered for you and when ready you can pickup and from my understanding they will even help install these seats.
You can live anywhere in Maine an use these locations. If you are not in Washington county or close to us there are locations in all counties to help with car seats.
If I myself have a way to help I will also gladly try and help you find a seat for your child!
