🚗🎶 WEIRD CAR FACT OF THE DAY

Did you know some cars in the 1950s actually had RECORD PLAYERS?! 🤯

In 1956, Chrysler introduced an in-car record player called the Highway Hi-Fi. It mounted underneath the dashboard and let you listen to records while cruising down the road.

Yes… a record player. In a moving car. In the 1950s.

Suddenly, Bluetooth connection problems don’t seem so bad.

🚗 Dashboard History Fun Fact

Did you know the first dashboard wasn't in a car at all?

It was a wooden board on horse-drawn carriages that protected passengers from mud and debris being dashed up by the horses' hooves. When automobiles came along, the name stuck.
