Hello everybody My name is Ricky Pequeño and I own a mom and pop type tire shop called Triple E Tire here in Abilene located at 1326 North Treadaway. I didn’t exactly know where to start and who to get a hold of but I’ve been thinking it over for a few months now and I’m wanting to set up a toy drive myself at my tire business and label it “Flats For Families”.
Basically I'm wanting to trade flat repairs on all size tires which range from $10-$90 and ask for a toy or 2 to compensate for my work. And with the proceedings Im planning on handing them over to the Toys For Tots drive here in Abilene. (Waiting for their response because I finally decided to break ground on this today.) I’ve also reached out to La Voz 93.3 to spread the word and i’m waiting for their response as well.
It’s only my first time attempting to do something like this for my community and whether I gather 20 toys or 200 it’s something I’m still willing to do. Please spread the word by sharing this post so the community can come together for some good. My used tires start @ $40 so maybe you could even get a couple toys to compensate that $40 for the used tire. Anything helps. These 85 days will fly by and Christmas will be here before we know it. Thank you. 🙏🏽
