On arrival, we identified a vacuum leak that had pushed A/F Alpha-B1 up to 120%, and fuel consumption was clearly suffering as a result.

After rectifying the leak, A/F readings returned to a healthy 100%, and the customer is back on the road with restored efficiency.

When there's no code, the process does the talking. 🛠️

A 2013 Ford Ranger came into the shop with serious braking concerns and an ABS pump pulsing on its own — yet zero fault codes were stored.

Here's what the diagnosis uncovered:

Power steering fluid had been mistakenly added to the brake reservoir. The front left wheel speed sensor was showing signal dropouts in motion. Bearing particles and grease were contaminating the encoder seal. Cleaning alone didn't restore a proper signal.

The fix: a front wheel bearing replacement using the correct part, the encoder seal cleared of all metal debris, and a road test to confirm everything was operating as it should. 🚗

The bearing wasn't fully failed. No ABS light. Just a clean, methodical process delivering the answer.
