In an automobile, ball joints are spherical bearings that connect the control arms to the steering knuckles and are used on virtually every automobile made. They theoretically resemble the ball-and-socket joints found in most tetrapod animals.

Most times when purchasing what we would call an 'after-market' ball joint, it wouldn't fit perfectly like that of an original ball joint. Thus, needing it to be welded/tacked into place as you see in the above images/videos.

Brake caliper seals are divided into two types: piston seal and dust boot. One function of the piston seal is to prevent brake fluid from leaking from the caliper. Another function is to pull the piston back to release the brake. The pressurized brake fluid forces the piston to slide out of the caliper.

Here we had a customer complaining of their front wheels seizing up. further inspection led to us determine that the piston seals had deteriorated and was causing the piston to not retract in the cylinder.
