Today, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po announced that the electric private car “one-for-one” first registration tax concession will expire at the end of March.

At the same time, full first registration tax exemptions for electric commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and motorised tricycles will continue through 2028.

As government subsidies phase out, Mile Green empowers riders with our own financing and royalty ecosystem to lift heavy upfront costs of switching to EVs, with:

• Flexible financing
• A royalty model that rewards riders
• Lower barriers to sustainable commuting

Subsidies may sunset, but we’re building for the long road ahead.

This handover reflects our commitment to putting clean, practical mobility directly into the hands of people who rely on their bikes every single day to earn a living.

For delivery riders, reliability matters. Cost matters. Comfort matters. And increasingly, so does sustainability.
