MIRKA® DEROS 550CV (Direct Electric Random Orbital Sander) is the first ever electric sanding machine with a brushless motor and no external power supply. It is also the lightest electric machine on the market. MIRKA® DEROS 550CV has a soft start function, a built in electronic motor brake and a smooth, easy to operate lever to control motor speed. Thanks to its high efficiency brushless motor, the MIRKA® DEROS 550CV also has a plenty of power to get the job done quickly. Its performance is comparable to a conventional 500W electric machine and that ensures it maintains a constant speed even under heavy load. The unique symmetrical design makes it just as comfortable whether it’s being used in the left hand or the right hand and the longer body provides the option of a two-hand grip. MIRKA® DEROS 550CV is equipped with a new type of backing pad, which has a central air inlet. This results in improved air flow and helps extract dust away from the centre of the tool even faster.

ABRANET SOFT

A combination of Mirka’s patented, highly effective sanding net and a thin foam layer, Abranet Soft is a new type of sanding material that was developed to minimise clogging, whether being used for hand or machine sanding. The foam layer and open structure provide flexibility that allows the material to easily follow surface contours. Since dust collects in the foam layer during sanding, the result is a smooth surface finish. Abranet Soft is suitable for pre-polishing lacquered surfaces, while coarser grits can be used for intermediate sanding of lacquered wooden surfaces by hand. Recommended for wet sanding.Available As

GOLD SOFT GRIP

Gold Soft is a new sanding disc, with optimal foam thickness. The semi-open grain coating gives a less dust clogging and better cutting performance. The soft backing gives an excellent paint finish. A softer disc edge eliminates damages on profile sanding. Gold Soft P500 is suitable for primer sanding applications and P800 for mattening clear coats.
