I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my Kia K3 which defective ECO light issue is unresolved. The chronology of events since I collect my car on 20 May 17, as follows -. 20 May 17 I had collected my car on 20 May 17 from the Sales Executive Derrick Cheong. The next day 21 May 17, I discovered the ECO light is on. Sales Exective Derrick advised me to send it to the service centre to have a check. I sent the car to C&C Leng Kee on 22 May in which the Service Advisor, Lim PW did not solve this issue. He informed me that he would need to check with Kia Korea for instructions. 25 May 17 Service Advisor, Lim PW (Leng Kee) called me to send my car to C&C Leng Kee on 29 or 30 May to assess the issue. 30 May 17 The ECO light issue was resolved when I sent my car down to C&C Leng Lee on 30 May. The isue was resolved by dismantling and reconnecting the power supply to the car battery..However, the ECO light reappeared with fourteen days. I reported this issue in my 1000 Km service which was scheduled on 1 July 17. 1 July 17 I report the issue to Service Advisor Ivan (Pandan Gardens) when I sent my car for the 1,000 serivicng on 1 July. Ivan told me that the instrument cluster is faulty, and I would be informed when the parts arrive from Korea. 25 July 17 The instrument cluster was replaced & Service Advisor Ivan (Pandan Gardens). informed me to monitor the situation. The ECO light reappeared on 4 Aug 17. I reported the issue to Pandan Gardens Service Centre on 5 Aug 17. 5 August 17 I sent my car to C&C Pandan Gardens on 5 August 17 and was attended by Service Advisor, Pang. The issue was unresolved after I left my car there for 4 hours. I received no follow ups from your service centre since, and the ECO light issue is still unresolved. My car suffers from poor acceleration, and hesitates in downshifting to a lower gear when overtaking. I have serious concerns that this poses a serious safety issue, as this ECO light defect prevents me from executing overtaking maneuvers in a safe manner on my daily commute. Please either arrange for a courtesy car for my use immediately, or reimburse me for the rental of a car of similar capacity until this issue is resolved permanently.
