Our client requested for this special design and we optimized it for strength and weight, reducing the weight by 1 plus kg lighter than the original design.

Our esteemed client has always fancied the 2-toned BBS CC-R design but seeked certain augmentations:
⚪ The darker areas to be Gloss Black instead of Graphite
⚪ The lip of the rim to also be Gloss Black instead of the usual polished lip
⚪ To be able to fit a G30 should he decide to transfer the rims in the future

We further refined the design for better weight optimization as the CC-R is relatively heavy. The result is a lightened RRT rim at 9.4 kg vs the original at 11.8 kg for 19x8.5J, while addedly being more load stable and a flushed fitment.
Finally, the rims are matched with Black/White BMW wheel caps for a finishing touch.

Many people ask us a common question - What makes RRT wheels special? Afterall, many wheels look similar in a general way.

A picture tells a thousand words. This is a modified version of the RRT-CHYROS X built for high load, high sustained G forces endurance usage. It was also designed to clear the thick AP Racing CP9665 calipers on a space-limited MQB platform, for wide tires, and to utilize the available space for maximum stiffness and strength.

The client won the endurance event at Sepang in nothing short of an amazing display of tenacity and commitment. Over the years, we have seen dedicated testing and practice, and we are honored that he chose RRT wheels as a reliable partner in his motorsport quest.

We build wheels that work in the most extreme of situations, not just that of sitting pretty and shiny. Performance to us is not optional.

The chunky side profiles and deep 5-axis side cuts with extremely optimized geometry, allows for an extremely strong wheel to come in at just 7.75 kg for 18x9.5J. The RRT-CHYROS X has one of the best value propositions in the market, beating the majority of the Japanese forged wheels in the market on performance and weight. Albeit with the advantage of coming in at similar or even lower pricing. All these with the ability for perfect fitment, from the customization of offsets to brake clearance requirements.

When it comes to engineering, while there are vast differences in the ability of the designer to optimize structures for strength, the undeniable fact is that immutable laws of physics cannot be broken. A structure needs to have a high cross sectional polar moment of inertia for stiffness and strength.

The black wheel in the 3rd picture is made by another company. They tried to minimize weight without investing in the time and cost relating to optimization and 5-axis CNC machining (which are greatly time-consuming). Hence resulting in the narrow short spokes just to hit lower weight targets without factoring in the strength required. The outcome is a wheel just for looks and numbers at the lowest cost possible, forgoing the importance of safety and durability which ended up cracking when stressed.

TLDR - If you demand performance that you and your car deserve, don't go for random forged wheels manufacturers. RRT is the way to go. Hardcore engineering all the way, exactly what your finely tuned machine deserves.

It has been a while since RRT has launched a new design. This is as we set extremely high standards for what we demand of our designs. Both mechanical and visual requirements must be achieved. After the RRT-XTREMIST and ULTRA, it was difficult to develop a design that could equal their performance specification and in many ways, it felt pointless to design a flagship RRT wheel that was not to the level of standards and performance we had already achieved, until now. For Singapore's 60th National Day, we are introducing our newest creation.

Presenting a technical tour de force: the RRT-STARLITE.

The RRT-STARLITE is a design not seen in the market to date. As RRT designs and manufactures our own wheels, we are not beholden to what other manufacturers design and produce to present in the market. Many months went by where we racked our brains for an ultra efficient spoke structure that could give us the performance level we demanded.

Featuring a super stiff and efficient spoke structure for lateral cornering performance, it exhibits RRT hyper-light level of lightweight efficiency, coming in at:

The RRT-STARLITE uses an extremely large cross section polar moment of inertia spoke design, featuring a large windowed hole in the main spoke, positioned and supported exactly where material is not required.

A chunky but hollowed center core section allows for stability, rigidity and strength.

And the star shaped relief cut on the face? It is not just a visual design showcase, but one required to make the design work by reducing stress raisers and creating optimal load paths, generating its unique look and hence its name.

Forged out of 6061 aluminum alloy and T6 heat-treated, followed by extensive 5-axis CNC machining that can exceed 16 hours per wheel, time that other mass production manufacturers will not even consider financially viable. The RRT-STARLITE is not for the faint of heart but for the car loving enthusiasts/professionals that we are, and what we deserve.

We are neither a marketing company nor one that overly focuses on optics. We focus on technical capability and providing our clients with wheels that will withstand the harshest requirements thrown at it. Many have the misconception that RRT purchases its products or outsources production to China or other sources like how the other forged wheel companies in Singapore do it. However this is not the case. Our engineering and manufacturing is fully done in Singapore. Hence we do the work that few other Singaporean firms do, including 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.

Here we have an Alpine A110 with customized front and rear brake upgrade to a full floating 330 mm setup. This includes full inhouse-designed and CNC machined rear caliper brackets in 6061 aluminium alloy (7075 available on request, however FEA data shows that it is not required) that houses the brake pads.

For those savvy about design, engineering and CNC machinings, you will recognize the kind of effort and capability that we have just by looking at the brackets.

Besides forged wheels, we specialize in ground up engineering and design work for motorsport applications in Singapore.

We are also able to build custom lightweight titanium brake brackets for those who do not wish to have a 2 kg brake caliper bracket, complementing their 2+ kg lightweight brake caliper setup.

RRT special custom forged design 18x8 and 18x10 for the extraordinary Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, decked out in Ferrari Red for the Lunar New Year.

We went with the classic Corsa wheel theme. However, what makes our RRT custom forged rims stand way ahead of the rest is our never ending pursuit of performance. For us, it is not good enough to look good. Our rims must have performance enhancing functions.

While most wheels of this design weigh around 10-14 kg, our
RRT forged rims come in at 7.5 kg and 7.95 kg for the front and rear respectively. Colossal weight savings that we take pride in designing and manufacturing.

How do we do it? By going the extra mile in optimization and CNC machining. Despite looking so simple, this wheel is 5-axis CNC machined under the spokes (see last picture).
