THE SUNDAYS WE REMEMBER
Final Episode — “What She Will Remember”

On the journey home, their daughter fell asleep holding her favourite toy and a tiny seashell from that afternoon.

Ah Ma gently adjusted her blanket.

Mum looked back at her and quietly asked:

“Do you think she’ll remember today when she grows up?”

Ah Ma smiled.

“Maybe she won’t remember every place we visited.”

She looked lovingly at her granddaughter.

“But she will remember how it felt when we were all together.”

As Singapore’s familiar evening lights appeared outside, the Honda became quiet.

But it was not empty.

It carried tired smiles, old stories and a day the family would talk about for years.

Some journeys take us somewhere new.

Others bring us back to what matters most.

THE SUNDAYS WE REMEMBER
Episode 3 of 4 — “Stories Along the Road”

As the city slowly disappeared behind them, Ah Gong began pointing out places from long ago.

“Your mummy used to fall asleep before we reached the first traffic light,” he told his granddaughter.

She looked surprised.

“Mummy was small like me?”

Everyone laughed.

Mum had heard the story many times. But hearing it again, with her own daughter listening beside her, somehow made it feel completely new.

Between road signs, passing scenery and little rest stops, stories that had waited years finally found their way back into the family.

Honda did not create those stories.

It simply gave them the space, comfort and time to be heard again.

And for that moment, the journey became more important than the destination.

THE SUNDAYS WE REMEMBER
Episode 2 of 4 — “No One Left Behind”

The Honda stopped below a familiar HDB block.

Before the sliding door had fully opened, their daughter was already calling out:

“Ah Ma! Ah Gong!”

Ah Ma’s face immediately lit up.

Ah Gong moved a little more slowly these days. Dad offered him an arm and walked with him towards the car.

Once seated, Ah Gong looked around and smiled.

“Wah… today everybody can come.”

For the first time in months, nobody was left behind.

The Honda was soon filled with bags, snacks, laughter and all the people who mattered most.

Sometimes, the most important thing a family car carries is not what we place inside it.

It is the people it brings back into our lives.

THE SUNDAYS WE REMEMBER
Episode 1 of 4 — “Next Week, Okay?”

Every Sunday, Dad gave her the same answer.

“Next week, okay?”

There was always something to finish. Work was busy. Everyone was tired. And another weekend would quietly pass.

One morning, their daughter stood beside the car with her little yellow backpack and favourite toy.

“Daddy… is this the week we fetch Ah Ma and Ah Gong?”

For a moment, nobody answered.

Children do not measure time by calendars. They measure it by the moments we keep.

Dad looked at her, held up the Honda keys and smiled.

“Yes. We’re going today.”

That morning, their Honda was waiting—not simply to take them somewhere, but to bring them closer to the people they had been missing.
