The highly awaited event, Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2017 is over. It was nothing short of a fun-filled event, and an even amazing learning experience.

As a first-time team, MotoLUMS performed much better than expected. Lacking a mechanical engineering department, our team managed to build an aluminium frame, with a carbon fibre top (fabricated in our own lab).

Our accomplishments are as follows ;
-First ever team in the history of Shell Eco Marathon to purely consist of electrical engineers.
-First ever Pakistani team to pass the 'Technical And Safety Inspection' in their first participation of Shell Eco Marathon.

We would like to thank our sole sponsor, 'DESCON ENGINEERING'. It was very kind of Mr.Abdul Razak Dawood (CEO, Descon) to sponsor our travel.

Our Professors, Dr.Sabieh Anwar and Mr.Nauman Zaffar deserve a shoutout for their massive support in this endeavour.

Last, but not the least, on behalf of our team, I would like to thank our Team Manager, Ahmed Hembel. He was the person who came with this idea, and during the whole project, he spent many sleepless nights and ensured that MotoLUMS made it to the event.

We hope to come back, stronger than ever, next year. KUDOS!!!
